Westie Discussion Lists

What is a discussion list? A Discussion list is an email group which offers a convenient way to connect with others who share the same interests and ideas. Email groups allow you to send email messages to a group of people using just ONE email address. No more typing in a list of addresses! Some lists have only a few messages a week, some lists have many messages per day. If the email traffic gets to be too much for you, you can elect to receive the lists in "digest" form (1 email a day instead of every message being sent separately as it happens).

Westie-L - Westie-L is intended to be a friendly, casual forum through which all kinds of information about West Highland White Terriers and life with these terrier-ific white bundles of energy can be exchanged. Serious and light-hearted topics are welcome as are anecdotes about Westie antics. Members who are suffering from an overabundance of Westie antics will hopefully find support and help within the group. Anyone who has an interest in WHWT's may join: breeders, pet owners, fanciers, competitors in conformation and all of the performance events -- obedience, tracking, earthdog, agility, flyball -- are welcome as are persons considering the addition of a Westie to their households.
FriendsofWestieMed - FriendsofWestieMed is strictly for discussing WestieMed-related issues such as public relations, fundraising ideas, volunteers, and suggestions, etc., having to do with WestieMed and how it can best serve the Westies in need.
Westie Breeders - A forum for breeders of West Highland White Terriers. This list was conceived of by Westie breeders who believe very strongly in the mentoring system and who felt that there is a need for a list for people interested in the responsible breeding of Westies, regardless of whether these people are experiencing their first litter or have been breeding for many years.
ARF4Westies - A place for Westie owners to exchange information about "how to practice" and benefit from" a species-specific appropriate raw food (ARF) diet, including poultry and animal meat and bones. This List is restricted to practitioners and those who are seriously giving consideration to providing ARF to their Westies.
